China Platter

China Platter is owned, and operated by the Wong family. It has been a staple for many citizens of Bountiful and is a unique piece of history for those that have lived in the area. Weather it be take-out or dine in.

Bountiful

The Wong family settled in Bountiful and have successfully opened several different restaurants. One of which was started in the late 80's and was founded in Bountiful. Located originally in Colonial Square (now just The Square), the address is 547 West 2600 South. Due South of Nielsen's Frozen Custard on the other side the the parking lot.

The Wongs

Kwan Wong has four sons. Jason, Josh, Jordan, and Jesse. The five of them have often been seen around the restaurant and have all worked to provide a great experience at China Platter. Kwan has greeted countless customers as they have entered China Platter and has made many friends over the years.

In 2009 the Wong's also expanded their talents into downtown Salt Lake City by opening J Wong's Asian Bistro. Named after the four sons the new restaurant allowed for growth in their culinary expressions and gave a new experience to those in the Salt Lake area.

Kwan

Splitting time through all of their endeavors the Wongs can be seen in either of the restaurants and around Bountiful. Kwan has recently retired, but she will still be seen from time to time and still owns the business. Her sons continue to run both China Platter and J Wong's.
